How to select a good Upline/Sponsor?

In order to be successful in the best Direct Selling/Network Marketing it is very important for you so select a good sponsor/upline else it will result in your failure. Many people quit this wonderful opportunity just because their choice of Upline/Sponsor was poor.

These are some common complaints about bad direct selling sponsors.

1. Not able to provide support on time.
2. Lack of ability to adapt to new technologies to support their team members.
3. Complete/Partial lack of product knowledge.
4. Did not acknowledge team member's efforts.
5. Not available on the phone call or did not return phone call and emails.
6. Many of them use false offers to lure members into joining their team.
7. Some will force you to buy unnecessary products.
8. No regular team meetings conducted.
9. Poor communication skills.

Failures and poor performance are also cause just because of obligation i.e. a person signs up with a friend or family member out of obligation. Just imagine if you upline who might be your friend or relative has no experience of direct selling business, no internet marketing skills and no idea about what and why they are doing this business then how can you except good guidance and support from them. This results into high chances of your failure.

Question to ask an Upline/Sponsor before your join under him/her.

Before you join under someone, ask them these questions to ensure that you do not join the wrong upline.

1. Are they willing to provide business related response via phone calls, emails, SMS etc?
2. Talk to them on a personal level to understand whether they truly have leadership qualities.
3. Observe whether they building their network seriously?
4. Is he/she capable of duplicating the system under their downline?
5. Is he/she taking regular team meetings and monitoring individual team member's performance and growth? The best leader will teach and focus on each and every member of the team.
6. Are they proactive, energetic, positive and supportive?
7. Are they developing their network globally? It is very important for you to ensure that you do not join under anyone who is  not open to new technologies, internet-friendly as they lack or have outdated knowledge about new trends and mechanisms to ensure that their team members have the best of support.

If most of the answer results in a NO then it is time for you to find a different upline who can ensure that most of the questions mentioned above has positive answers.
